The specifics of our hire fleet vary from time to time, but essentially we hold the following vehicles for hire:
Transit Vans for Hire
- Ford short wheel base transits
- Ford long wheel base, high roof transits
- Ford Luton vans with tail lifts
We tend only to operate Ford vans, as they are the most frequent request from our van hire customers.

Half Day Vehicle Hire Times
Half Day, Mon – Thurs is 8.30 – 12.30, or 12.30 – 4.30
Half Day on Friday is 8.00 – 12.00, or 12.00 – 4.00
Saturday is Full Day hire only – 8.30 – 4.30
Closed Sunday
Beyond these times the hire transfers to a 24 hour hire or longer.
We hire out our vehicles for local use only. 50 mile radius of Newcastle upon Tyne is defined as local use.
Tyne Tunnel Charging System Change
The system for charging for use of the Tyne Tunnel has changed. If our vehicle is to be used in the Tyne Tunnel the appropriate fee must be paid, in addition to the hire fee, at the time of hire.
